Introduction and Explenation

Hello there,
First of all, pardon me if occassionaly I make spelling errors or my writing seems sproadic. As it turns out, typing is not so easy when one doesnt posses opposable thumbs, and I don't yet feel as though I have a complete hold on- what is it? - "blogging" yet.

My name is Snowball, and I am a pig. Oh come now, don't look so baffled! If you've read the book "Animal Farm" you must have some feint recognision of what part I play in the account. Well, I'm here to set the record straight. See- I'm an old pig now, and I feel as though my time is running out. That time, oh so long ago, when Major first sang Beasts of England is but a flicker of light in my head now. I fear I have reached the same state of Major. Not in prestige- heavens no! I could only hope to one day be as great as that Old Swine. Rather, I fear as though the the time of my death draws near.
Because of this, I feel it is in my ability- nay, my responsibility to write about my account of the events which happened so many years ago. To have my voice heard? Well, partially. More then just yelling into the dark however, I hope someday- somehow- my first-person account of the events which many-a-student has read about by the recolection of that famous historian and writer George Orwell will cause a peaceful uprising of Animals from all around the world.

This blog, you could say, is my Beasts of England to a new generation of animals.

Many of these firsts "posts" are adapted from the journal I kept as a young and vivacious pig. Although not everything is a direct copy from my journal (I will have to stretch into the recesses of my mind for some of the memories) I can promise you that every bit will be accurate.

Thank you, and I hope through this blog you will be able to see the true spirit of Animalism, as Major, not Napoleon, intended it.
